“I’ve always considered us akin to parallel lines that could only intersect if one of us just shifted our angle slightly, but maybe that’s the whole point of everything.” —> so real. reading this at 1am and no words have ever been more real than these

That was really pretty! I read while listen to your audio, and you read aloud so well. Your voice is so soothing, conveying emotions while giving a sense of calm altogether. That probably also came from the text and its angle. Anyway I wish it had been a paper book haha so I would have underlined a few of your sentences. I hope you'll share more autofiction :) It's inspiring

"But we don’t run into each other. The city is both too big and too small for that kind of coincidence. And so here we are: two characters in different stories that just happen to share a setting. It’s almost literary, the way we both tried to escape in our own ways, and ended up tracing similar paths without knowing." -> So true, it resonates with me. Truly such a beautiful piece of writing! Made my day!

this actually hit so. hard. hearing it read in your voice made it a whole different experience. also seeing my name (!!!) combined with the coincidental references that eerily relate to my life and past situations actually gave me chills and sent me into a spiral. absolutely beautiful wow oh my god
